Toyota models in Phils. not affected by US accelerator-pedal recall
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) early this week announced that TMP and Lexus Manila Inc. (LMI) models sold in the Philippines are not affected by the U.S. accelerator-pedal recall. Which model did you go with? What miles per gallon does it really get, in your experience? Do you have the 4 or 6 cylinder engine? Anything else I should know if I want one?
Friend got one-4 cylinder engine. Says he gets about 6-7km/liter city driving. That's about 24-28mpg. He's still breaking it in, though. Probably get better mileage after the break-in.
