Honda Cars of McKinney - 2010 Element SC Dallas TX 75070
New Honda CRV needs new motor/wont cover undr warranty bc overheated/burned up- check engine lght on- ideas?
Wife's 2005 honda CRV needs a new motor due to overheating which Honda of McKinney in Texas will not cover due to owner negligence- only indication was that check engine light was on, no temperature guage indications- check engine light went on and then went off- second time it came on- car overheated and ruined motor- they can't prove the radiator was leaking- I have a receipt from Speedy Oil showing fluids were checked less than 3k miles ago and fine- Honda will not cover due to ownner negligence- will cost 10k for new engine- ANY IDEAS??? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
It is common for dealers to try to BS you and get out of doing repairs. DON'T give up! get a lawer if you have to.
File a complaint with the better buisness bureau, and bureau of automotive repair. They will investigate.
Try to contact Honda's regional rep. If all else fails, make a sign and picket in front of the dealership. Don't give up without a fight.
